How Far is It and How To Get There?

There are two ways to get to Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay in Kill Devil Hills - driving and flying. The closest international airport is in Norfolk, VA (ORF). After landing in Norfolk, you will then head south on NC-168 and US-158 where you will drive over the Wright Brothers Memorial Bridge. When you get to the road signs pointing you to NC12 North, you will stay straight and proceed through the town of Kitty Hawk. The next town you arrive in will be Kill Devil Hills NC. You will pass the Wright Brothers Memorial on your right and then take a right onto Colington Road. Next, turn left onto Bermuda Bay Blvd. Turn left onto Cambridge Road. The lavish color will greet you and you'll automatically feel relaxed ready to enjoy your Outer Banks vacation!

What Other Destinations Should I Look Forward to When Visiting Here in Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay?

The closest and one of the most popular attractions near Cambridge Cove is the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Not even a mile up the road, you can enjoy the history of the Wright Brothers or even climb up to the monument itself. Nearby attractions also include Jockey's Ridge State Park. Centrally located in Kill Devil Hills makes you easily accessible to all destinations along the Outer Banks. Take a drive up north to Corolla and visit Whalehead Club and the Currituck Lighthouse. Head down to Cape Hatteras and visit the museums and Bodie Island Lighthouse.

There are several piers within close proximity to Cambridge Cove. The closest one is the Avalon Fishing Pier. They will let you rent a fishing pole and bait and go enjoy yourself.

For the golf fans in your group, the Outer Banks has some of the best golf courses on the East Coast.

What are the Special Check-in Instructions for this Property?

There are no special check in instructions at the KEES Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay. KEES Vacations utilizes a keyless entry system for all of our Outer Banks vacation rentals. Your express check in is performed by email or over the phone. No waiting in lines or congested parking. Your easy keypad access code will begin working at normal check in hours of 4pm on your check-in date. You may go directly to your rental accommodation at this time. Check out time is always 10am.

How Does the Cancellation Work if You Need to Cancel?

The cancellation policy for Cambridge Cove follows the KEES vacation policy as such:

Homes are individually owned, and we are unable to transfer reservations. In the event that a reservation has to be canceled, written notice is required and must be received by KEES Vacations prior to check in. The tenant is responsible for verifying that the cancellation letter has been received by KEES Vacations.

In order to advertise the property available for re-rent, the rental amount must be paid in full. Refunds are only available if the property is re-rented. We will make every reasonable effort to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for the original rental agreement rate, tenant will receive a refund of the advance rental payment less the administrative fee, less any insurance payment, less any third-party fees and is subject to a cancellation penalty of $75.00. If the property is re-rented for less than the original rental agreement rate, tenant will be responsible for the difference in balances and is subject to a cancellation penalty of $75.00. If the property is not re-rented, no refund will be paid.

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO PROTECT AGAINST UNEXPECTED EVENTS. Travel insurance is nontransferable. One-time date modifications may be considered ONLY WITHIN THE SAME PROPERTY AND SAME CALENDAR YEAR, no later than 30 days prior to arrival, and are subject to an additional administrative fee, availability, and minimum length of stay restrictions. Please make sure you are happy with the property you reserve and the dates before confirming your reservation.

Bermuda Bay is a soundside community located in the heart of the Outer Banks in Kill Devil Hills, across from the Wright Brothers Memorial. Cambridge Cove is a short distance from shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and historical attractions. It is also 1 mile from the closest beach access. However, the adjoining towns have local public beach accesses, all of which provide plenty of free self-parking.

Note that private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on Memorial Day and closing after Labor Day. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.
