How Far Is It and How to Get There?

There are two ways to get to Beacon Quarters - driving and flying. The closest international airport is in Norfolk, VA (ORF). After landing in Norfolk, you will then head south on NC-168 and US-158 where you will drive over the Wright Brothers Memorial Bridge. When you get to the road signs pointing you to NC12 North, you will turn left. Continue Hwy 12 N (also known as Ocean Trail Corolla). If you stay straight at that light, you will head south toward the towns of Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head. You will eventually come to the Beacon Quarters community.

How Far Away is the Beach and is there Parking Access at the Beach?

The Sturgeon Public beach access is located within walking distance (less than a mile ) from Beacon Quarters. Enjoy free self parking if you do not want to walk there.

Are There Nearby Restaurants in Beacon Quarters?

From local seafood delicacies to international flavors, Corolla Village boasts a wide range of dining options for our guests. If you venture further south into the town of Duck, you will find even more dining options.

Are There Nearby Attractions in Beacon Quarters?

Staying at Beacon Quarters is the perfect area for those looking to get away from it all, a place where wild banker horses roam the beaches (tours are offered for those who would like to see them), and where the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the Art-Nouveau-styled Whalehead Club overlook Historic Corolla Park, a fantastic spot for kayaking, kiting or just taking in lovely views of Currituck Sound.

What are the Crib and Extra Bed Policies Here?

KEES vacation rentals at Beacon Quarters have plenty of space and there is no need for an extra bed. In regards to cribs, those and a pack-n-play can be rented and/or purchased locally.

Corolla Beacon Quarters is directly adjacent to the Sound, and a few minutes of driving through the picturesque landscape of Corolla trees and sand will take you straight to the park! Not only that, but your group will also be within a couple minutes reach of public beach access, giving way to the wide beaches Corolla is famous for. The resort itself is not short of amenities either, however; as it boasts a community pool with a lift, a picnic area, and two volleyball courts. The properties themselves are not much to sneeze at, as they each feature a private entrance, gas grill, stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV, stunning decor, spacious rooms, unique design, and decorations intended to give each one a unique personality. With the Beacon Quarters condos featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there is space for everyone including small families, friends, and couples. Have a look to see which one suits your group best!

Beacon Quarters includes a community pool with a lift and outdoor shower, 2 volleyball courts, and is close to public beach access. This access is located within the community and is only a short walk from your vacation rental.

The community is a good location because of all the things nearby including local attractions as well as great restaurants, nature trails, grocery stores, putt putt golf, as well as other shops.
