Experience your next Outer Banks vacation at this spectacular pet-friendly, oceanfront home with the beach just steps from your door. Located in Buxton, you will spend time on one of the most prized beaches of Hatteras Island near the renowned Cape Point. Discover endless opportunities for relaxation and fun at this oceanfront home. Hang loose with all the outdoor entertainment that Surfside Retreat has to offer! Chill out at the sparkling pool or sip your drinks at the covered lounge area while the kids jump into the sparkling pool and splash in the inset kiddie section. The hot tub is tucked away in this private entertaining area as well. Whip up some fresh local fish for the whole family on either the gas or charcoal grills! Need a lift? An all-level elevator carries all your luggage and groceries throughout the week. Entering the first level of the home, a rec room provides wall to wall oceanfront views as you shoot pool. A wet bar offers full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher to make mid-day and late-night snacking convenient. You will find two bedrooms on this level - A King bedroom with deck access, and a kid-friendly bunk room with two Pyramid Twin bunks. There is a full shared bathroom in the hallway. Head upstairs to the second level of the home and you will find four King En Suites, each with access to a deck, and one with handicap features. Every bedroom in the home has its own TV! On the third level of the home, you will find a great room which boasts vaulted ceilings and wall to wall windows to ensure unobstructed, pristine ocean views! A King En Suite with a walk-in tile shower and dual vanity, can be found on this level. Watch the morning news on the large screen home theater system while relaxing on the plush couches. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is furnished with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, double wall ovens and a long breakfast bar that seats five. There is plenty of seating for larger groups at the main dining table which seats another 10. Pour some drinks and relax on the expansive sun deck, accessible from the great room, which provides unobstructed views of the Atlantic which will surely leave you awestruck. This is one of three nearly identical neighboring homes - rent one or a combination of the three for your group. If this home is already rented, be sure to check out sister homes, Hatteras Retreat and Cape Point Retreat. Hang-10 at Surfside Retreat during your next Outer Banks vacation! Surfside Retreat is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! You can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only. Please no pets in the pool. This property has 7 parking spots for guests. **Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.** Check-In is at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will be provided at this time. Check-Out is at 10am.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach front house. It rained some of the time but we had plenty to do and had a few sunny days to spend at the beach.

This house was amazing. Extremely clean, right on the beach, great amenities and a lot of fun. The elevator was great for moving in and out and getting from the 1st floor to the 4th floor. We also used the movie room when those storms rolled in and out. Overall, just a great time and will be visiting again next year!

Perfect house for a beach getaway with family. We stayed for 3 nights in early June. Unbeatable location right on the beach with fantastic ocean views. Lots of fridge space for food and libations and having access to a propane grill is clutch. Although the house is fully loaded, you'll want to bring your own beach accessories & umbrellas as those are not included.

Our stay was wonderful. The house worked well for our big group. There was plenty of room to spread out and more than enough bathrooms available. We enjoyed making food in the large kitchen and there were enough pots/pans/dishes. We saw dolphins multiple days from the decks. The beach was quiet and private. Even though we didn’t need anything, we had multiple opportunities to talk with the host as they checked in with us several times at the start of the stay.

The home was fantastic and exceeded expectations. My large family had a wonderful time here for Thanksgiving week. I dont know where all of the negative reviews are coming from. The home was very clean and ready for checkin on time. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 12 and there were ample kitchen amenities available to use. I will def be looking to stay here again.

This home was beautiful and so relaxing! The OB views were incredible and there was so much room to hang out with our big family. The pool was amazing and refreshing the hot tub was a nice feature too. The Weber grill for grilling was perfect. We Loved the Elevator especially for bringing up luggage and groceries. It is so peaceful and right on the beach. We definitely will be back. We highly recommend!!!
