This motel reminds me of being loaded in the car as kids in the 60s and heading to the coast for that yearly summer vacation. We loved that the beach was right down the path from our room. That the other guests were friendly and visited while grilling dinners. The room was spotless. The kitchen pretty well equipped. Bring dish towels and washcloths or sponges and a few extra tall garbage bags. Don’t come here if you are looking for glitz and glitter. For a laid back totally relaxing budget friendly time this is it.

I almost didn't want to write this review not because of any negative experience but because I feel like I'm giving away a secret. We just had a WONDERFUL experience with the Sea Gull Motel, a plain basic room but that is exactly what we wanted. The beach is literally out our door, it's incredible. Door code system worked great and we had literally no issues at all. It was clean, simple and perfect for us and our pups.

Kees gave us all the information we would ever need in emails leading up to our stay. Getting into our room was so quick and easy. The room itself was well maintained and clean. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely use Kees Vacations as well as stay at Sea Gull Motel again!

We had a lovely time and the Seagull Motel was clean and the kitchen was perfect! The beach is only steps away with amazing sunrise and sunsets and you can hear the waves from the room. Wonderful and pet friendly

Loved the Sea Gull! Would highly recommend it to others. Extremely close to the beach and very convenient to everything in Hatteras, great pool with sun all day, large rooms, very clean, quiet. Had not been to Hatteras since I was a kid decades ago, and the Sea Gull was a very pleasant surprise!
