K7101 Doctor's Orders at Kitty Hawk Shores

First, and almost the most important, the owner was so responsive to our needs. Every time we sent them a message, they responded quickly and were able to accommodate our needs! The house was stunning, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone in the group was comfortable, slept well (and was therefore happy). The kitchen counter was soo great for cooking because it is huge! Loved having two full kitchen fridges, dishwashers, etc. The dining room table sat our group more than comfortably. The 3rd floor living room is great, and the 4th floor living room might just be the best part of the house -- such an awesome space, our group loved watching movies together and playing games up there. Great view of the ocean too! The beach was across the street, so easy to access. Plenty of parking. Elevator made unloading our groceries a breeze. Hot tub and pool were great, played lots of ping pong and shuffleboard. Can't think of anything that wasn't positive. Would definitely rent this house again, highly recommend for a fun group that likes to swim, cook, hang, and beach. Thank you to the owners for being such great hosts!

Doctor's Orders is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The home was immaculate and quite spacious. We were a party of 13 and had more than enough space and privacy to retreat if needed. The location was unbeatable as it was in close proximity to the beach. Having an elevator and a pool were certainly bonuses. I think it would be helpful if a set of steps were available to assist with climbing in and out of the hot tub. Especially for elderly guests and also for those who might have mobility problems. Also having a metal handrail to hold while stepping in and out of the pool could be useful for the same reasons. The beds were all very comfortable…the pillows not so much. I would definitely stay at Doctor’s Orders again and undoubtedly would recommend it to others.

We had a great time a a big family group staying at this house. There’s lots of rooms to spread out in. The beach is just across the street and an easy walk to the beach access. The kitchen has two refrigerators and dishwashers which helps with a big group. Our favorite feature was the ice machine!

Best location in KDH! Beautiful house, great service. The layout was perfect for our large family. Kids lived in hot tub, pool and game room. Kitchen was fantastic size with plenty of dining space. Everything was well stocked. Thank you Kees, see you next time!

We had 18 adults from our extended family who were there for a memorial service for the spouse of one of my siblings. It was a very comfortable environment spacious enough for everyone to gather together in the main room. We would definitely consider renting this house again!

This was an excellent property for use during Thanksgiving week for 16 people, including 5 children. Excellent location. Only complaint is that the configuration of the TVs was archaic. There were 7 remotes in the game room and no clear indication what they were for. Not withstanding that, we would rent th property again.

My stay here at this property was perfect! We had the worst VRBO rental from a different company and had to pivot quickly and find something else on short notice. I flew in from Seattle and had family come from Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Cary, so we had to think fast to book something else.

We saw a sign on a business center for "Kees" close to the property, but when we walked in, they said Kees was mo longer there. The lady (Lauren) said she had good connections there so she hopped on the phone and helped make it happen. She secured us a time slot to do a view of the tour and said that the Kees agents wanted us to make sure it was to our liking, even though guests had just checked out housekeeping was there.

We quickly went over there to tour the property and even with the mess that the last guests had, we the core of the home was still clean and we went ahead and booked. When we checked in at 4pm, the Kees inspector and housekeeping was there, apologizing for the delay. I let them know that apologies weren't needed and WE appreciated them for accommodating us on such short notice.

All of our family arrived and everyone loved every aspect of this house! There were about 20 of us and we still had extra space! We made some amazing memories, relaxed, laughed till we cried, prepared some great meals, slept very well and had one of the best family vacations ever. Everyone kept talking about the next vacation and we agreed that it would be with Kees property, but we'd look for a beach front unit.

It also felt great when I received an email from management the first day, asking how our stay was, if we needed anything and offering suggestions for things to do/eat/experience in the area. It's the little things that were done by this property management company that made us feel like we were at home away from home and it felt like they all came to work that day to make sure we had the best day.

So I don't have an individual name to speak on amazing service during our stay because everyone we interacted with, even the lady that didn't work there but had a contact, provided amazing service!
